Does the box have the same footprint as the core box? There is a trick putting both boxes together to get a tall one if they are the same. Drop the short box bottom into the lid of the tall one, and put the short box top under the larger one's bottom. Wala.

Your threat value in this game is NOT 7 it's actually 14 the little symbol before the multiplication symbol represents the number of players in your party and in your case 2 so it's 2X7=14

I have to say that I have bought some counterfeit games knowing that they were copies, but only when there is no more stock of the original game. Sometimes you have to wait for years until the game is released again, and its a pain to wait that much time.

I just realized that Jesse also forgot that Melissa has the talisman. These guys are bad about paying attention.

Yall should get a new copy of this game and playthrough again. Wouldn’t make the same mistakes. Also do not let Melissa play. She’s a horrible boardgamer, doesn’t pay attention, and doesn’t listen to what she’s supposed to do to win the game. Also Jesse has the book and he’s not paying attention to the fact that she gets a plus 2 to her roll for having her sacred items.

Yall played that horribly. Joe had a weapon that lets him attack with as many dice as Roger rolled. You needed to place the traps and be adjacent to them so you could have used your knowledge to do damage to the berserker. Way horrible playthrough.

Both the traitor and heroes need to read their books and know their abilities and the monster abilities. They should have something in their respective books to tell them the rules of the monster loses the combat.

Underrated game!!

I got this board game from AliExpress recently, and I wasn’t sure if it was real or not. It came with the poster and the notebook thing, but the cards were in three seperate packages. Although it also came with the expansion cards, it didn’t have the rules for those cards. On the box the words were slightly cloudy, there is a lot of spelling mistakes in the rule books, and some of the cards that are the same role have slightly different colours to each other. What do you think?

Thanks for your video. I think the point scoring standees with the plastic standee bases are supposed to go in the compartment you didn’t know what was for. The acrylic tokens are double the thickness of the cardboard tokens, so it’s not space for them without sub-par organizing IMHO. I ended up pledging without the acrylic tokens and the terrain pack. Both seems redundant to me. The acrylic hexes is something I think is much more needed, as shuffling cardboard pieces around in bags is taking a toll on them over time. Very few of the pieces in the acrylic tokens product need shuffling in any way, just the shields, so I don’t really see the need to upgrade those to the extent that they won’t fit nicely and clearly organized in the main game box.

41:53 she built 3 floors. She paid 1 for the first and 3 for the other 2 floors. It is 1 coin for the first, 2 for the second and 2 more for the third. So, she paid 4 instead of 5 coins.

It's likely just me, but the oscillating table at the bottom makes me feel a bit of motion sickness.

1:25 Those cards are the refill rate reference cards. The upper left corner shows the map and the number of players. The numbers in the circles in the top row are the step numbers. The first column is the fuel types. The remaining numbers are how many of each resource is refilled.

It came out nice, very decent look for a DIY, I would still suggest covering all the screws with a filler then either painting over or lacquering over the filler to get rid of the screw holes and screws being visible.

As per your request, here's a comment many years later. :-D. I just got into Aeon's End after seeing the Gamefound campaign for the latest expansion (Descent). Figured I'd pick up Legacy to learn the game and see how much of the existing content I want to back. Enjoying watching your videos as I work my way through my own campaign.

Easy to learn game, and the pictures are so cute! But calculating the points. . .I hate that part so much. It takes the same amount of time to play.

Werewords is one of the best party games. Werewords Deluxe allows 2 players to play a social deduction game! Both players might know the secret word, but they have to pretend they don't know it, LOL. It usually costs more than $10, but well worth it.

Champions of Midgard is one of my all time favorite games! Glad to see it get some love here :) For me personally, I play with the expansions less than half the time because our group enjoys the higher risk involved with combat more in the base game.

Guess not. Anyway I bought the Capstone version as I couldn't find much online about the differences. The Z-Man one came with two rule books, German and English. It also has different Ziploc bags, and put all the spare Ziploc bags into one, whereas the Capstone one just placed the spare bags loosely in the box. Finally, the power tokens... Disappointingly they look slightly thicker but smaller in diameter, and most critically they are a very dark shade of purple. Not what I'm used to (Z-Man used the light shade of purple everyone is used to)
